Attempting to run CF64 App in order to determine potential firmware update issues?

Post by Mr Davo »

Hi All,

I am running a TVS-471 with firmware version 4.2.4.

I am about to upgrade the firmware (to 4.3.3.0210) but before doing so it is recommended that I run the CF64 App to check the compatibility of the Apps that are installed on my NAS.

Installation of the CF64 App has gone smoothly, however when I run the App I see the message 'MYNAS refushed to connect'. I am operating behind a firewall and have my proxy settings set appropriately.

My expectation is that the CF64 App is using a non-standard port, and that my firewall is blocking this App.

Does anybody know which port this App is trying to communicate on?

Alternatively is there a list of known App issues?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Davo

I'm running 4.3.3.0361 and I'm trying to run the CF64 app but I also have the white window.
Can anyone advise please ?. I don't want to apply the update without understanding what apps are impacted. I'm new to QNAP and I'm in the process of setting up my NAS.

You needed to run the app BEFORE you upgraded to 4.3.x.

Since you are already on 4.3.x release, there is no need to run the app. Upgrade to the latest QTS release via normal mechanisms.
