Codexpack not available in app store

Post by primey2000 » Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:06 am

I've just purchased a TS-128A and the codexpack is not available from the App Store. Is there a way to get this or a manual download location?

You now have to install Cayin Media Sign player for codec support

Thats not what I want it for. THe CodexPack presents the ability to create/mount media libraries in Plex via Google Cloud if you also have HybridMount running.
I have this running on another QNAP device which is Intel based. As the TS-128A is ARM based, I am after an equivelent for that. I know it used to exist, but its no longer present in the AppCenter

I have found references to this filename "CodexPack_4.1.0.D_20160307_arm_ms.qpkg" but have had no luck tracking down a manual download.

Doesn't matter....the CodexPack won't work with the latest firmware.
Plex worked for about an hour after upgrading the firmware....flashed to a screen stating it couldn't connect to an unsecure network (this was a local network)
and it stopped. Cannot even access it anymore.

Plex has it's own Codecs, so needs absolutely no 3rd party plugin
