Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
Updating to "latest" version of HBS via App Center didn't fix the problem for me....
...but then I noticed the new version of HBS was "HBS 3 Hybrid Backup Sync 17.0.0512" and was not 17.1.0719 as others have mentioned.
I was running QTS 4.3.x at the time, so updated to QTS 4.5.x
After QTS upgrade was complete, I was able to update via App Center to HBS 3 Hybrid Backup Sync 17.1.0719
Once updated, OneDrive Personal syncs are back working for me.
Hope that helps someone.

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
Hi all,
For the owners of so called "end-of-life NAS" like me: I have a HS251 (the basic one, not the HS251+) that QNAP allows to update to QTS 4.3.6.1711 only, which is supposed not to be compatible with a fixed version of HBS3. In the "app center" on QNAP website, I've made as if I had a newer NAS (HS251+) and declared I had QTS "4.5.3-4.5.4", which is actually not the case. It allowed me to download HBS 17.1.0719. Unexpectedly, I've been able to install it manually on my NAS (still running with QTS 4.3.6.1711) and to connect it to my Onedrive account and am currently running a backup task. I will keep you posted once the task is completed (hopefully).

Thanks, it is working on my TS-269L (QTS 4.3.4.1463) as well.
All my OneDrive Sync jobs are running again in HBS3.

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
I am on qts 5.0 beta. My HBS is 0628 and unable to find an update or manually install the 0719 version.
Can anyone suggest a solution? My NAS is TS-x73 Amd

From QNAP:
"As it stands the information I have this may not be fixed as your firmware in no longer supported. However I have seen a couple of ticket that have this issue. So it may in the future, but the info as it stands right not is that it is not supported."

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
Same issue here. Was working and then stopped. I'm able to authenticate against MS (verified within MS Account profile). I've tried:
1. re-authenticating
2. deleted the authentication within the Microsoft account
3. deselected "validated sll cert"
4. deleted outlook account in Qnap
5. recreating the "storage space" outlook account
Hoping that it's that API issue and that MS fixed it.

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
You using the latest firmware and version of HBS3 - 4.5.4.1741, V2.17.2.0726 ? Want to check before I upgrade from firmware 4.5.2 and start getting the messages to implement 2-factor authentication (QNAP seem to have forgotten that with the smaller units will be for home use without external access).chrisouth wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 8:54 am Same issue here.
