Backup Remote SFTP (using Remote Mount?)

Post by cdsaenz »

Hi everyone,
Been trying to backup a hosted server to my QNAP but it only allows SFTP with a key so no luck with HBS3.
Found out that I could Remote mount it without problems (inconsistency right? :) )
So now I have the remote folder available in File Station. I might copy and paste everyday to my QNAP NAS.. But is there a way to automate that?
HBS3 doesn't seem to be able to use the remote mount..
After a while I was able to SSH into my QNAP, install nano and now want to edit the crontab. All good so far but.. which is the path of the SFTP/folder that remote mount exposes in File Station? Is there a physical path I can use in the cron script?
Thanks!
