Per definition "After connecting a USB or eSATA external storage device to the NAS, the device and all of its readable partitions will be displayed in Storage & Snapshots > Storage > External Storage. QuTS hero will also create a shared folder for each readable partition on the device."
My external USB disk shows as connected and formatted with 16 TB NTFS in the storage management. BUT the disk (or share) doesn't show up in the FileStation. The disk also doesn't show up in HBS3.
When I click on the disk in the upper menu, filestation opens, a "line" flickers and disapperar, leaving me with no disk access.
I reformatted it using NTFS and exFAT (have a license), the disk still doesn't show up in FileStation or HBS3.
How can I mount a USB disk in QTS hero?

Re: QTS Hero not mounting USB disks
By going to Control Panel/Shared Folders and changing the share folder permissions of that drive, I was able to view the drive.
