Re: Backup windows server share
Unclear question: backup TO Windows shares or backup OF Windows shares?
Sure it works! Just create a storage space in HBS3 (i.e. remote SMB server) and create an active sync job.
Whatever you like to do, you can select the Windows host as destination or source.

A raid is never a substitute for backup! Never!

Re: Backup windows server share
As said, unclear questions provide unclear answers!
Never said that a $-share can be used!
Create two shares at Windows host, one for drive c:, one for drive d:.
Then you have to create two(!) remote SMB servers, one for each (Windows) share.
In addition you need two active sync jobs. When creating the active sync job, you can browse and select all folders at the drive.

Re: Backup windows server share
FSC830 it's ok to access administrative C$ and D$ , it is not useful to share C$ and D$ because is ever share
Just type C$ in share option (where you can browse folder), after when i create job sync i can choose my folder
Thank'you to your help
