Hi,
I'm trying to configure RTRR over VPN, I've got one TVS-682T (5.0.1.2277) & one QGD-3014-16PT (4.5.4.2280).
- I'm attempting to use NordVPN & I've followed their instructions to the letter.
- I've configured each nas using QVPN in the VPN client settings & they are showing as connected with their own public ip addresses
- I can ping the public ip's and packets are returned
Yet I cannot for the life in me get them to communicate with each other when creating a sync job in HBS3 (2way sync).
I'm not massively into networking, so please excuse me if I'm missing something obvious & I have already reached out to Nord but they're telling me that it will not work on a Qnap. Any help at this point would be appreciated.
Thanks
Luke
FYI. I did test / have a two way sync working on our local network

Re: RTRR over vpn
Whats your intention to use VPN? A remote connection to another NAS as OP tried?
Then each of this services is not what you need.
Read the linked thread in post #2.
Regards
