HBS3 syn job fail

Post by QNewbapp »

Hi,

I am trying to back up my external HDD to a QNAP NAS using anHBS3 sync. What happens is there are several (thousands of) missed files. I am not sure what to do? I am trying to figure out how to do this via rsync that normally works really well. Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or have any advise on this topic?

Thanks

And by the way the statistics on the transfers show that 0 files skipped/filtered/missed/changed, which is obviously not the case?

Have you checked the detail logs (download via the 3 dots top right in hbs3) what the reasons for the failed files are ?

It does not report any fails but thousands of files are missing compared to the original set of files?

Thanks

The missing file names have various letters indicating ID and positioning followed by a number such as IOP_UJ12.0001.gz. Other files may be affected but those are the most obvious at this point.
