I also submitted a ticket without receiving a useful response. After installing the GoodSync qpkg on my TS-251+ about a month ago, it filled up the ramdisk a few hours later, so I gave up on it.Has anyone tried gsync or gs-server (http://www.goodsync.com/for-linux) on QNAP? It's not clear what the difference is between this and the qpkg. I'd like to periodically sync files via sftp, and might be able to do that with gsync if it has the same "runner" capability as the Windows version. I submitted a ticket to GoodSync asking these questions, but have not yet received a credible answer.
My solution for syncing via sftp was to create an Ubuntu server VM, install sshfs and Unison, and set up a cron job that periodically mounts the remote filesystem, runs Unison to sync it, then dismounts it.
