Issue with Hybrid Backup Sync

I am trying to run a uni-drectional sync (NAS > Amazon Drive) but looks like there are dozens of different issues that prevent the job to complete.

I have set the number of concurrent files to 1 and number of Maximum skipped files to 100. But still, after dozens of attempt, the job seems impossible to complete.

Anyone else got same issue? What can be wrong???

Today I am getting a lot of

"[CloudBackupSync] (Sync) job [Cloud Upload 1] cannot Upload file /Xyyyy/Xzzzz/2016/Xxxx/20160802_200852.jpg because of an invalid requestPlease consult your logs and contact us".

and

"[CloudBackupSync] (Sync) job [Cloud Upload 1] failed because of an error. Please contact customer service."

I have the same problem -> uni-directional Sync to Amazon Drive:
[CloudBackupSync] (Sync) job [Fotos] cannot Upload file /some_directory/some_subdirectory/IMG_1675.JPG because of an invalid requestPlease consult your logs and contact us.

I have found some restrictions on Amazon Drive, but don't see any matches to my skipped files:

File and folder names must be less than 255 characters

Not allowed in file names:
- special chars: (<>:"/\|?*\) or Unicode \x00 - \x1F
- $$

File names may not end with
- CON
- PRN
- AUX
- NUL
- COM[1-9]
- LPT[1-9]
- spaces or dots

I have found that simply retrying the file will usually get it uploaded normally.

However, I keep running into a follow up problem. After getting everything synced (after a couple of retries), no I keep getting Sync failed because the cloud service is unavailable.
Even though the connection to the internet is stable and no other apps or computers have an issue with connectivity.

Same issue here. QTS 4.3.3 really hosed things up. First had to contact support (painful experience) to resolve a qsync issue.

Now this.

Had to re-create all backup sync jobs because they all stopped working after the upgrade.

Now this error.

Wish I'd never upgraded...

Same here problem started earlier this month but everything was fine in June.
Have had the following message several times
CloudDrive failed to upload to Amazon Drive due to an unknown error. Please try again later or contact the QNAP Helpdesk if this error persists.
I know my file names are OK 'cos they worked in the past so assume the update is the culprit.
I also reduced concurrent processes to 1 but as yet still no joy
I have opened a ticket with support - so I suppose "wait and see"

Hello,

I get a similar error while trying to run a uni-drectional sync of Raid 1 NAS ---> Amazon Drive.

Number of concurrent files is to 1... when set higher it aborts sync even faster...

[CloudBackupSync] (Sync) job [XXXXXXXXX] failed because of an error (AttributeError). Please check your job configuration and try again.

Anyone knows what may be wrong and how to solve it?

Same issue with Amazon now. Have to manually restart the job after the NAS had been started

I also have the same issue with Amazon Drive and Hybrid Backup Sync. I filed a ticket yesterday with Qnap. If I get results I will post here.

I have not gotten a response but there is an update to the app available. Prior to the update I moved the concurrent files setting from 5 to 1. This appeared to help as I didn't have errors but my time with the changes was limited before the update. I just changed it back to 5 and I will report if I have any issues.

Just a quick update. The QNAP helpdesk didn't know what the issue was. Since the new update seemed to fix the issue we agreed to close the ticket. The new update now shows your cloud sync jobs as background jobs and the count on the start page in the upper right as it does for other background jobs, While not a problem today it shows only 9 jobs instead of the 10 I have. All 10 are running fine.
