B2 Storage option in Hybrid Backup Sync

Post by C5685 »

B2 Cloud Storage integrations lists the following:
QNAP Hybrid Backup Sync consolidates backup, restoration and synchronization functions into a single QTS application to easily transfer your data to local, remote and cloud storage. Using QTS 4.3.3 and HBS v2.1.170615 you can now sync the data on your QNAP NAS to/from Backblaze B2.
I'm currently running firmware version 4.3.3.0299 Build 20170901 on a TS-253A and Hybrid Backup Sync v2.1.170818 and the B2 storage is nowhere to be found.

Any ideia where is the B2 option?

Hi!

I have a QNAP TS-253A as well with Firmware 4.3.3.0299 Build 20170901 and Hybrid Backup Sync 2.1.170914

When I start Hybrid Backup Sync and then click on Create a Synchronisation Job -> Synchronise with Cloud -> Synchronise Local to Cloud and scroll to the right with the > arrow sign I have Backblaze B2 as an option there.

The options I have there:

Page 1:
  • Azure Storage
  • WebDAV
  • OpenStack Swift
  • Amazon Glacier
  • Amazon S3
  • Google Cloud Storage
Page 2:
  • HKBN Cloud Storage
Is there anything extra I need to install to add Backblaze B2 as an option?

Firmware: 4.3.3.0299
Hybrid Backup Sync: 2.1.170914

Which versions do you have? Did you need to install any other apps?

Never mind, found it.

If you choose Backup, then it won't work.
YOU NEED TO CHOOSE SYNC, NOT BACKUP!!!
Sorry for the caps but I cannot stress this enough. It drove me nuts that I could not find it, but it's glaringly obvious if you don't read the text but look at the icons instead. Sigh.

Then you have:

  • OneDrive
  • Google Drive
  • Dropbox
  • Amazon Drive
Page 2
  • Yandex.Disk
  • Box
  • HiDrive
  • Backblaze B2
Page 3
  • Amazon S3
  • hubiC
  • OneDrive For Business (Beta)
