Acronis True Image 1.0 App not working

Acronis True Image 1.0 App not working

Installed on the NAS (TS-451), launched, and it just spins and says:

"Please check the NAS network preferences, and then reopen the app."

But, it doesn't say what network preference to check. I don't see anything that I can enable...

Anyone else seen this? Figured it out? Have a solid guess on which network preference to check?

Maybe it is same issue, so just try to use this App without SSL ;-)

I have the same Error Message on one of my QNAPs TS-269 Pro, on my other one which is a TS-253A it is working without problems.

Please submit your findings to QNAP directly else this issue will not be fixed.

QNAP ATI 1.0 does not support SSL, go into Control Panel / General and un-tick "Enable secure connection (HTTPS)"

This is what worked for me, it took 4 days of diagnostics with Acronis to work it out. Always the simple things... I hope they add SSL support soon, its a basic feature these days.

Yes, that did the trick. Thanks Chris!

But, unacceptable. I'll wait for a 1.1 or whatever that adds SSL. Uninstalling the app for now. Glad you figured it out though. Appreciate it.

Worked here as well... Would much prefer SSL however this is only for the setup on my local home network so as long as my backup is encrypted I am good.

I did not get the QR to display (in IE) so I switched to chrome and it displayed QR. Other than that, no probs.

Well, this didn't seem to work for me. I'm using a QNAP TVS-1282T3 with QTS 4.3.5, unchecked the "Enable secure connection" option under System Administration, and got the same result. The Acronis app still tried to use SSL. I DID notice that the Plex app works fine with SSL, and when unselecting the secure connection option automatically reverted to http. I think this support may be in QTS now, it just seems like Acronis isn't playing well with it.

Had the same problem - Please check NAS network preferences, and then reopen the app

- disabled the Force secure connection (HTTPS) only under

Control Panel
Applications
Web Server

The Acronis NAS page displays properly wit the QR code etc

I still have the Force secure connection (HTTPS) only enabled under
Control Panel
