Revision history workflow

Hi guys,

I've got some doubts regarding the proper way to include revision history in my backup workflow.

All my data is in a external drive (Main Disk) and i backup it to a TS-251+, raid 1 using goodsync on my laptop (with revision history, 180 days then recycle).

From the qnap i backup/clone to 2 external drives (without revision history).

Is this ok?

It makes any sense to use snapshot functionality with this backup workflow (combine revision history+snapshot)?
