Hi,
I have read a bit about rsync and backup but still a bit confused how to set up what I need.
What I have is a QNAP at my office. The Internet connection has Static IP.
I also have a QNAP device at home. Here I do not have a static IP and the machine is only on at night.
I have a shared folder called "Data" on my qnap (Qnap ip is 192.168.1.16 and 192.168.1.19 on port 8080)
How could I set up each qnap so the home device will connect to the office and perform a 1-way sync from the office to home.
ie. The objective is to have mirror of my work files at home.
Thanks

Re: Help to sync 2 qnap devices
This is old so you would use Hybrid Backup Sync now but this is the principle

Use VPN or port forwarding to connect via WAN.
