I have no experience of backup cloud services. There are probably better threads on that subject somewhere here. Do a search (found in the upper right corner).
RAID have never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups on a different system (preferably placed at another site), you will eventually lose data!
A non-RAID configuration (including RAID 0, which isn't really RAID) with a backup on a separate media protects your data far better than any RAID-volume without backup.
All data storage consists of both the primary storage and the backups. It's your money and your data, spend the storage budget wisely or pay with your data!

How can I enable multipart upload for large files (+5Gb) in S3 compatible storage for backups with HBS3?

With the release of Hybrid Backup Sync 3.0.191108 QuDedup is optional when creating a new versioned backup job. So finally it works the way it should have from the start!

Does HBS3 add any features over HBS2 for those of us who do versioned backups to attached USB drives?
I have been using a previously defined job that continued to work in HBS3 all this while. Any need to re-create it now that HBS3 has been fixed?

The thing that I remember now is that scheduling was much improved with many more options.alokeprasad wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 8:11 pm Does HBS3 add any features over HBS2 for those of us who do versioned backups to attached USB drives?
