QSYNC can not connect (Login Failure)
Hello
I use the latest QSYNC Windows client with VPN connection to a Mikrotik router.
I have connectivity and access to the QNAP NAS trough the VPN connection, but when I try to connect via QSYNC client to the internal private IP of the NAS, after long waiting - about 5 min I receive the following error.
"Login failure". The password is OK and I have permissions to use the QSYNC in the QSYCN central.
My questions are:
1. How to debug this problem?
2. What can be the reasons to receive this "login failure"
3. Why so long timeout? Do my client "sees" the QNAP nas?
4. why there is nothing for my IP or username in the "System logs" application in the web interface?
5. What are the ports used by QSYNC client to connect to the server? Why this information is hidden from the QNAP?
Anyone can advise me and help me to solve this problem?
regards
Nikolay

I have this same issue. I have one iMac that can connect and another MacBook that cannot. Did anybody provide a resolution? Thanks.

Same problem!!!! 569 Pro firmware 4.3.4.1632
My qsync stop working. all client disconnected and when i try to reconnect i receive a message: wrong user name and password
Tried to reset all password and recheck all setting in Qsync, it's ok but not working!
Tried with different versions of clients (4.5, 5.0 and 5.1) same issue

I would recommend opening a call and posting the response and resolution here.

Same problem. All my Qsync clients fail to connect after an upgrade to 4.3.4.1632 build 20210324. Doesn't matter if you connect via http or https. Access via web browser and samba shares still works properly. Password reset does not help.
I've also filed a ticket.

Downgrade firmware to 4.3.4.1463 solves the problem in my case.

You downloaded the older version here:
https://www.qnap.com/en-us/release-note ... 3/20201006
and that zip file?
QTS build. (Https://download.qnap.com/QPKG/CF64_0.1-1114.qpkg.zip)
I've never had to go to an older version ...

Re: QSYNC can not connect (Login Failure)
Market.sk: that does not appear to be the right link.
I recommend going to the qnap download center: https://www.qnap.com/en-us/download (for US english, or the appropriate variant for other countries). Put in your NAS model info and select 'operating system'. You should see a bunch of options, sorted by release date with the newest on top. Select the second from the top, which should have been published in October 2020. For mine, it's: https://us1.qnap.com/Storage/TS-469/TS- ... 4.1463.zip
And the search layout for a QNAP TS-469 pro is: https://www.qnap.com/en-us/download?mod ... y=firmware
Good luck.
As others have noted, downgrading to the Oct 2020 release works. I can confirm for the TS-469 pro.
My ticket also got a response from QNAP indicating that they're looking into it.

Re: QSYNC can not connect (Login Failure)
Same issue with the 469L
Downgrading firmware to 1463 worked as a workaround.
