Hyper Data Protector [beta] issue

Did it twice but I will retry again

Ok I removed the package and installed again via APP Center
Added ESXi 7.0 all good
Added Repository. Good but takes 5 mins to popup folder selection
Added VM not included in the backup with other software and created the job with default vaules
Start the Job
Job Failed as usual

Message: [Hyper Data Protector] Failed to create snapshot with VM ATENA on VMware Inventory PLUTONE. Role: Inventory Agent.

Message is: Failed to backup "ATENA". Role: Job Manager

No way to have this software working

i tried to add a inventory with ESXi 6.5, unfortunately i get an empty error message.
Thought it was my server, after updating to the latest 6.7 the problem still exists.
Anyone having similar problems? Does the application write any logs that can be viewed?

I'll be watching this thread, I am experiencing the same thing and am experimenting with some things. If I come across anything I will share.

Hello all,

from what I read, Hyper Data Protector is free. Where does this info come from. I am using vmware hypervisor free. Could this be the cause. I have a License number and it never expires.

Although the application is free, the fact that it does not work in any way upon launch after installing is disappointing. It is even more disappointing that I got an email about the app, coming here looking for answers and seeing this thread started in April. Seems to me that the idea for the email was to get a bunch of customers to do testing to identify the bugs versus paying someone to do it. Guess that's the price of free. Uninstalled for now ...

The big is that not working at all.
Tried again today with a full version of VMWare.

This app is not working at all. Don’t loose your time.

I'm getting jobs fail and get disabled because it says my license has expired or has limited functionality. The product web site says "License free". It used to work. I've uninstalled an reinstalled to no avail. There are no licenses ion license manager.

I was able to install the software, but I get an error: The destination MAS does not have HDP version 2.0.0 or later installed. Install HDP 2.0.0 or later from the App Center and try again.
I do not have HDP in my app center - where from can I install it?
I was looking on the web and it isn't listed anywhere!
What am I doing wrong?

Can you tell me under what is the HDP available to be installed from?
I can't find it anywhere.
