Full backup on Sunday and incrementals the rest of the week?

This is likely a really easy question but I can't seem to figure out how to do incremental backups. I have two NAS's both model TS-231P2. One is setup as an offsite Remote RTRR server at my house. The other is at my work location. I want the offsite Remote RTRR to perform a full backup on Sunday and only retain 4 full backups. And then the rest of the week I want it to perform an incremental backup. I can't seem to figure out how to do the incremental backup. Instead I've got a one-way sync setup that kicks off each night at 2300 hrs. I don't feel like one-way sync is a good substitute for incremental backups because if a file gets corrupt on Friday afternoon and the one-way sync occurs that night then to recover the file I have to go all the way back to the previous Sunday to restore that file.

I think I figured it out. To perform a daily incremental backup I need to set a filter that will backup files with a modification date of 1 day. Does that sounds correct?
