Recovering RAID on a budget

Post by cte00 »

Hi all,

My TS-451+ had died on me but I believe my HDDs are still fine. I can't really remember the setup I made on my NAS. Might be 3 disc RAID-5, with one hot swap or 3 disc RAID-5 and another just a bunch of disc.

Question:
How can I go about retrieving the data on my HDD without getting another TS-451+? Ideally I don't want to own another NAS.

Warm regards,
CT

you should have had backups

buy a new nas..do backups..return the nas

or see if the 100ohm resistor trick is fixing your nas
