Hello,
I have 2 QNAP's and I use Hybrid Backup Sync 3 (HBS 3) to backup some folders from QNAP2 (source) to QNAP1 (destination).
Therefore I needed to enable the RTRR service on QNAP1 (destination). The default port number is 8899.
Last night the backup service failed and I discovered a strange reason...the RTRR port number had changed to 38899. Could this have been caused by malware...? Or could it be a security update has changed the default port number...?
After I changed the port number, the backup service ran properly again. Of course I ran Malware Remover several times, it didn't report any malware yet.
Does anyone know why the port number of the RTRR service could have been changed?
Thanks in advance,
SJW
