Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
I've just downloaded the newest version of HBS v17.x for the ARM Annapurna Labs and installed and run this successfully on my EOL NAS with QTS 4.3.x
So, why wouldn't QNAP make this available or suggest this fix to me? They really want to make me believe it's all unsupported and I have to upgrade my NAS?

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
Based on what Jamieburchell posted I downloaded the latest version for my model (TS-451) for the latest NAS firmware (4.5.3/4) and successfully manually installed/upgraded it on my NAS running 4.5.2 where I was able to recreate the sync I had removed, and then to run it.

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
You’ll need to ask QNAP by creating a support ticket. They don’t provide support on this community forum.

Yes you actually get more answers from QNAP on the Redditt forum than you do on their own forum ..... go figure

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
Sorry for the really late reply. I'm using the latest version HBS3 (3.0.210506) and firmware (4.3.4.1652 Build 20210413). I'm just trying out "Cloud Sync" (2.1.440), authorization to OneDrive is working - I think this is the app that was superseded by HBS3, can't remember.dapprman wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 4:35 pmYou using the latest firmware and version of HBS3 - 4.5.4.1741, V2.17.2.0726 ? Want to check before I upgrade from firmware 4.5.2 and start getting the messages to implement 2-factor authentication (QNAP seem to have forgotten that with the smaller units will be for home use without external access).chrisouth wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 8:54 am Same issue here. Was working and then stopped. I'm able to authenticate against MS (verified within MS Account profile). I've tried:
1. re-authenticating
2. deleted the authentication within the Microsoft account
3. deselected "validated sll cert"
4. deleted outlook account in Qnap
5. recreating the "storage space" outlook account
Hoping that it's that API issue and that MS fixed it.
Edit: I should also mention that I'm using "Connect to Cloud Drive" (V1.3.112 (2019/02/19)) which requires access to OneDrive, without any issues.
So IMHO HBS3 is broken and requires fixing.

I had the same issue with my EOL QNAP TS-669L with HBS3 (3.0.210506) and firmware (4.3.4.1652 Build 20210413). Based on the comment from jamieburchell I went to https://www.qnap.com/en-us/app_center/? ... ect&II=355 (selected a supported model with latest firmware) and downloaded the current x86 version of HBS 3 which is 17.2.0726. I went ahead and pushed that onto my TS-669L and the OneDrive sync immediately worked again with no further doings.
So go to the QPKG / App Center and download a version for your model and you should be ok again!
Cheers

Re: HBS3 & OneDrive cloud service error
No joy with manually downloading HBS3 - the version that was available was the same I had originally installed. I did uninstall and then manually re-install. "Cloud Sync" is working for the moment. It's got limited functionality but it's doing the job. Oh and I should mention that I'm currently also using HBS3 for rsync to another Netgear NAS, and it's working just fine.dontocca wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:07 pmHi chrisouth, chrisouth wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 1:30 pm

Are we having another OneDrive problem? I mean, for the last few days, HBS kept failing every other day; log says authentication problem...
