Hi all,
Just registered to report the exact same problem. No recent firmware update. Everything was working fine on a couple of Sync jobs to a Personal OneDrive account... then getting the same error as everyone else. Looking forward to the fix!

Have the same problem. OneDrive sync worked for months, first the scheduled runs went into error. But when I restarted manually they worked. Now it never works. Tried to recreate the OneDrive connection with the same user, directly fails. Added for a second of my six family users the connection, the oAuth access grant was shown but also there when the connection should be saved the creation fails with Cloud Device error

It seems to be related to the following POST call done to the QNAP NAS

/cc3/v1/users/system/accounts

This call fails with a HTTP response 502 BAD GATEWAY

I have just received this response to my ticket. I asked about the release date for the new version of HBS3.
Because the next HBS is still in beta (testing) and we believed it will be released ASAP after passed.
So that we will suggest please wait for the new release information from Web or NAS app center will
get such information.
So not much help I guess, but at least we know it's in beta.

Just info for everyone affected by this bug

Today new HBS3 version has been released and by my check, everything is now working smoothly.

Provided one job with integrity check, no error, status is green.

Seems that bug is fixed now

Hi guys, got an update for HBS3 right now, Version 17.1.0719...problem solved...i can create the sync job for Onedrive.

Updated, sync is back up and running on personal OneDrive.

Original poster of this thread here.. I see the post HBS3 has a fix. Well they broke something else. I do not allow auto-updates for apps or firmware. I am a thousand miles from home on vacation, and a process I use started sending me notifications each hour about 8 hours ago of an issue. Got back from being out all day and I can no longer remotely access my NAS... I'm just about done with these amateurs at QNAP. Fix one thing, they break another thing.

Is anyone else having problems using myqnapcloud to remotely access your NAS now?

Just logged on to QNAP NAS and advised that update for HBS3 available. Updated and all now working.
However, I have App Centre update setting set to 'notify me' when updates avaialble. Still no notification received!!!
I do not use myqnapcloud so cannot comment on whether 'maxman' problem is universal. What I would agree with is the sentiment that at times QNAP do appear to be amatuers in that they never seem to comprehensively test apps and their updates but just wait until a user has a problem before doing anything.

FYI good news, after the update of HBS3 to V17.1.0719 all the sync/backup Jobs are now working as expected (1-way, 2-way and backup) I can also access remotely via myqnap cloud.

Hi,

I've also updated HBS3 to V17.1.0719 but I still cannot create a storage space using my personal one drive so it might not be totally fixed. I deleted my storage space when the problem first occurred.
