Hi!
I have 2 NAS TS 431 P3 with more than 30TB storage.
I m using one primary as a LUN and the other as a backup.
Files are essentialy added on the LUN every days and I backup them with snapshot replica on the other LUN. (100-200Gb every days)
But I have some question about restoration process.
Can I convert in place a snapshot replica as a LUN to quickly having a second LUN ready to be use without writting whole data ? (2-3 days for now and something like 5 if LUN is full)
Do I need twice more data (The snapshot and the Lun)
I d used snapshot and not a second LUN because I'd plan to move the backUp Nas on a second establishement in case of major failure and I heard than Lun expose on Internet is a very very bad idea.
Perhaps their is a better way than LUN + Snapshot
Thank you in a advance!
Best way to backup and restore Lun between 2 qnap
