Restoring when using versioning

Post by qwerty6000 »

Hi Gang,

I use HBS3 to backup to an S3 bucket, works well.

The way I do it however is I just backup a local folder called "AMAZON", and dump things in there when I want them to be backed up to S3 ... then remove the files.

When it comes to restoring, i can see all my different backup points in time ... but when I look at the available selections for that point in time, i only see whatever files were present on that particular point.

Older points have the older files.

If re-copy things into that folder and run a backup it's smart enough to know it's already backed those files up and oinly uploads newer files.

In a full restore scenario where you simply want to restore "all" from all points in time, is there a way to do that?

Cheers
