HBS + Dropbox created Google Files

I'm using HBS for a one way mirror from Dropbox to QNAP, which is then versioned with snapshots as a way to create an offline backup copy. It works great except it seems to be ignoring Google files.

From within Dropbox's web interface, they have a feature to create .gdoc or .gsheet files and store them (their link I guess) directly in the dropbox folder structure. These files do not show up in the related user's Google Drive account - the only reference to their existence is within the Dropbox folders.

HBS seems to be completely ignoring these files. Any ideas?
