When I search for torrents I only get results from extra and mininova which both return pretty terrible results.
Has anyone found a way to get around this issue? I assume its something to do with ISPs blocking certain torrent sites in the UK.
BT search only returns results for 2 sites

Most UK ISPs were force by the courts to block known torrent search sites.
best to do a manual search via a proxy then grab the magnet link and add it to the download station. one proxy for the UK that works is: http://ispunblock.com/

Get a VPN, and connect your NAS to it.
Unless I'm being blind, I can't find the setting to change what kind of QNAP I have on my profile. I now own a TS-253A
