QNAP NAS Community Forum

Thanks for the info here, hoping I can use it.... I'm stuck with Download Station 4.3.1 as my QNAP is a TS-231. My DS stopped providing BT search results and I can only assume it's because I moved to a new apartment and my new ISP blocks things like 'piratebay.com' or whatever. I can easily get around that by using a proxy, but the QNAP doesn't know to do that so returns no results.

I'd love to use the knowledge here to edit one of the existing search provider files to update the URL to one that my ISP doesn't block, but all attempts to do this in the VI editor via SSH so far have failed. I guess I'm editing the URLs in the wrong place maybe?? Anyone able to help out a DS 4 user?!

FYI the zoogle is working but the there are nu results from the Bay one.

Is there any way to force search to only include all searched words in results? For example, when I search for "one two", I want to see results with one AND two, not one OR two. Kinda makes multiword searching hard...

IrishGypsy can you make an add-on for Qnap model TS-251 Download Station for the site https://filelist.ro/ (those php and json)? How can I send you the beer ?

I tried this and found using WinSCP was a lot easier than using SSH. This gives you a more windows explorer based experience. Thanks IrishGypsy for the input. it worked well.

any plans to update the torrent search for download manager 5.2.1.131

the only search that works is limetorrents.cc (or extratorrent.cc) but only 1 works. i hope you can sort this because clearly qnap dont care
