QGet fails every download

Hi. I've been using QGet successfully for a couple of years on an Android handset. Took an update to QGet about a month ago and ever since then every time I enter a URL (not torrents btw) it adds successfully but then the download fails and shows a file size of 452 bytes (ie probably the size of the URL as text).
The site I'm using to download from uses a login which I'm providing correctly.

I can add and download from the same URLs successfully using the Download Station. Very frustrating.

I'm using a TS-451, fully up to date.

Any help would be most appreciated, am going mad with this one.
