1337x wont download

Post by japex »

Hi,

I've been trying to use download station and i've enabled every Addon available.

But everytime i choose to download from 1337x, the download fails.

Can anyone help me with that?

I'd also like to know if i can add more torrent sites.

Thanks

If you open the link displayed at the search option in a browser, and copy the magnetic link and past on the Input URL it works, but for some reason the Download Station is able to find the torrent file, but can't download from it.

I believe that something on the 1337x site have changed and the download station plugin can't handle anymore. I will try to look deep in this plugin and see if I can find a solution.

Any News on that? I still cant download files using 1337x. And it seems to be the best one.

And is it possible to add extra torrent services?

If you go to the 1337.to site and look at where it downloads the torrents from, they are now cached on other sites. For example, going to https://[removed] and clicking the 'Torrent download' icon opens a drop-down list that shows ITorrents, Torrage and BTCache mirrors. I don't think the script is coded to follow these links. If you open a ticket, I'm sure Qnap could fix it by following the direct magnet link on the page. Has anyone opened a ticket? If not, I will.

Please don't post links to torrents where copyright may be an issue. ;)

did you check first whether your ISP is blocking 1337?

if so, use a VPN. you should be using vpn anyway.... for download station, either use QVPN or setup vpn on your router using a paid vpn e.g. surfshark.

set it to a country that is torrent friendly, like canada for example. or switzerland.
