remote control torrents without DDNS and port forwarding
hi all, have a QNAP 431P and wondering how can I remote control torrent downloads like what can be done with remote.utorrent.com. My ISP (4G based) doesnt allow port forwarding etc so I cannot access my QNAP remotely with DDNS and port forwarding. What alternatives are there out there that have the same functionality as remote.utorrent.com. Or is there an "easy" way to run utorrent server on the QNAP 431P, note this model doesnt have much power to run a VM with an OS and then utorrent server? Have a quick look at docker container with utorrent server but didnt work, may need more time to try work out why not. Thank you

Re: remote control torrents without DDNS and port forwarding
your model cannot use vm's at all .. not just "no power" ...
4G sounds like you will fight with carrier grade nat
so torrents and remote access will both be diffficult

Look into reverse SSH tunneling.
