Hello,
I was looking for a simple way for a while that I never really found to send the links from my browser to download station.
So, I developed my Send to Qnap extension
https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/sendtoqnap/
The code is under github
https://github.com/garoloup/SendToQNAP
It has already been validated by Mozilla by firefox and still pending at google chrome (why is it so long at google chrome ??).
It does the minimum for the moment, ie send a link on right click to QNAP in local network.
I did not find any doc from the download station web API so I am doing reverse engineering which is progressing slowly.
I am an information taker on this web API.
Hope it helps

Re: Simple Firefox & Chrome extension
Some (good and bad) news about my progress:
Good news is that Google chrome finally validated my chrome version :
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... er=0&hl=fr
Bad news is that I found a tiny bug in the published version with hardcoded IP in one of the web request.
Fix is released and published quickly in firefox but again in the slow chrome validation process.
I reversed also some other web API thanks to postman to query running tasks.
Hope to release soon.

Re: Simple Firefox & Chrome extension
I may be doing wrong but i cant connect to my NAS in local, what should i put in 'directory' also would be better if it was more visible as the extension settings are so small i can barely read it. Future request would be nice to manage torrents in web browser and live tracking of the progress like easy client for transmission or utorrent.

Re: Simple Firefox & Chrome extension
Sorry I just see your post
Can you provide logs from browser debug console ?
On chrome : right click on SendToQnap icon => Manage extensions => Inspect views Background page => Console
Copy console messages
Which QTS version ? 4.5.1 ?
Is Download station app installed in QTS ?
Since sometimes it seems that NAS folder tree chnaged especially for the Download folder
