The torrent file is not loaded via the qget apk

Post by OmGarik »

Good day! In stock 451+ Such a problem: I used to download a torrent file from my computer to my phone, and then put it on download via QGET. Everything was normal until recently, now when loading, authorizing and opening QGET, the file is not loaded, and the QGET application, when opened, goes to the main page and that's it. Who works with QGET, please respond, in August the program was updated, what can again be a jamb?

Hi and welcome to the forum. :)

QGet has been dead for some time now: https://www.qnap.com/en-au/news/2015/qn ... et-utility

Removed from the Apple store: https://www.qnap.com/en-au/how-to/faq/a ... -app-store

But, (oddly) still appears to be available in the Google store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... om.qgetpro

I think you should create a support ticket with QNAP and ask them about this.

Do not update the download station. The last "working" version is "DownloadStation 5.6.3.162"

Hello everyone, I opened a ticket and after talking with the support, I solved the problem, the fact was that I was transferring a file from the computer to the dropbox, and then I opened it in the android in the dropbox without downloading the torrent file itself, and it was automatically added to qget in downloads. In the new qget update, this function was removed, now you need to download the file to your phone, and then add it to Qget? and this is a couple of operations more.
official response:"Unfortunately, it's Google's new policy causes this issue. All the APP are required to updated to SDK 30 (otherwise, the APP will not be allowed to release to the Store.) and SDK 30 is very strict on access files in a phone. Due to this new changes, like mentioned in the previous reply, users have to download the files to a phone first or using the embedded browser to add torrents to a NAS."
