Photos showing wrong date in Sony Android TV

Post by cmamaral »

Hi,

I just finished copying some tens of thousands of photos to my new TS-451A QNAP NAS. When browsing them in a Sony XD83 Android TV with the Album app they all show the date/time they were copied into the NAS (two days ago). If I look at the properties of the files in the NAS through the Windows Explorer I can't find these dates anywhere; they have the correct dates of when they were taken or scanned. And I'm not talking about the date taken in the EXIF metadata which is the one that should be used.

Can anyone help? Is it the way I copied the files to the NAS or some kind of NAS, Twonky or TV configuration I missed? I already tried Windows robocopy and ViceVersa.

Thanks,

Carlos

Hi again,

I just found out that in PhotoStation there is a "Date Imported" which seems to be the date/time when the file was copied to the NAS. This is the date/time shown in Android TV. Is there a way to use the file date or the date taken in the EXIF metadata?

Thanks,

Carlos
