just a general question as I have just ran into this problem after I have moved away from Kodi streaming to Plex.
I have discovered that when I do anything, was plex is streaming like moving files around or access the NAS I find that the plex streaming is interrupted and the plex client goes into buffering.
the is the same if a background task starts within Plex of the NAS and the client buffers.
so my question is: is this a know issue with Plex and the TS 460 Pro NAS ?

Re: Plex on TS 469 Pro
the little atom cpu is probably maxing out by playing anything through plex .. so as soon as anything else happens on the nas ... it can't cope anymore

Re: Plex on TS 469 Pro
the dolbyman. this was my thinking that the model I am using is not up to the job.
as I am thinking about upgrading to a 8 Bay NAS can any anyone suggest a good NAS QNAS or Synology that can do the job.
as I don't want to look at workstations or DIY builds.

Re: Plex on TS 469 Pro
that is a bit out of my price range £4k for a Nas.
I was thinking around the £800 to £1000 mark for my new nas

Re: Plex on TS 469 Pro
smaller budget also means much smaller computing power
a NUC as plex server with the QNAP as storage should be pretty good in terms of cost
