TS-251+ w/ latest OS

Post by eea123 »

So I installed the latest update 5.0.1.2145 build 20220903 and promptly lost my mapped connection to my Raspberry PI running RuneAudio. The mapped NAS drive is showing up just fine on my Windows 10 and Windows 7 machines, along with QNAP's Media Streaming app for Roku. Although I had to reindex the files for some reason.

I have been using SMB/CIFS for the connection. I now get the following error in RuneAudio:

mount error(95): Operation not supported Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

I have also tried to play around with QuFirewall and insure that the IP address of my Raspberry PI wasn't blocked.

From the 5.0.1.2145 release notes:
To prevent malware and ransomware from exploiting SMB v1 vulnerabilities, QTS now automatically sets the lowest SMB version to SMB v2 if your lowest SMB version is SMB v1 before this firmware update.
Perhaps your Raspberry PI is using the older insecure SMB version?
