Can someone please direct me to the correct settings using a Windows 10 laptop, QNAP NAS and Marantz preamp with HEOS? I updated from a WD My Cloud to the QNAP and I feel foolish that I cannot figure out how to stream my music files (FLAC) to the Marantz using the HEOS app.
I can access the QNAP on the Windows 10 laptop and see the music folder. The folder does not show up in the File Explorer, but using the QNAP App I can see it.

Best to ask in a forum/place for these HEOS devices..no idea what they use (DLNA..SMB?)..hardly an issue for a QNAP forum (unless you have a specific issue/problem that you can describe)

This is another time that you need to enable SMB version 1 on the QNAP. You will find plenty of discussions on this forum of how that is done. (Procedures vary a bit based on the version of f/w ion your QNAP)
