Hello,
I have enabled the iTunes server on my new NAS and it shows in iTunes "NAS00(iTunes)" when I use the dropdown in the upper left corner of iTunes.
Unfortunately I am not seeing any of my 4632 songs in iTunes.
Firefly is pointing to the proper music folder and lists the correct number of songs after doing a full scan.
I have been searching around the forums since I got the NAS over the weekend but have been unable to find out why this is.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Barry
My setup:
** QNAP TS-451 v4.2.0 (2015/10/30)
** 3-3TB Hitachi drives
** 1 Storage Pool with 1 Volume
PC is running WIndows 8.1 joined to an Active Directory Domain
iTunes is version 12.3.1.23
Please let me know if there is other info needed.
Thank you
Barry

Re: iTunes: NAS visible, music not
Nah, all the apps to do this with are no longer supported. And seems there is zero solutions to get this to work. I do not even know why qnap even includes this feature. It is like they almost want you to use ROON server and pay that hefty price on that. It's crazy.
