How to run HybdridDesk on Samsung even though everything seems to be correctly setup

Post by LosGalacticos »

Hi,

I have got following setup:

TV: Samsung UE40ES5500
NAS: QNAP TS-251
Yamaha receiver

I correctly installed my NAS and connected to the internet and to my Samsung TV. Then I installed HybridDesk station app on NAS with selected apps. NAS is connected to the receiver by HDMI cable, then receiver also by another HDMI cable to TV.

When I select particular HDMI to run HybridDesk I see
this
and only option is to open SmartHub or TV settings me (it applies for both users). I should be able to get to this screen http://docs.qnap.com/nas/4.1/Home/en/7_ ... embim6.jpg. Unfortunately I was not able to manage how to get there even though I followed exactly this tutorial http://docs.qnap.com/nas/4.1/Home/en/in ... tation.htm.

Note: I also tried to connect NAS directly to TV by HDMI - same result.

Can somebody help me how to solve it?

Many thanks

Maybe I found the reason...I've got wireless mouse connected to TV and when I click the left button, the menu pops up (does not matter which app is currently running etc). So it could be matter of TV settings, but I was not able to find any solution in TV settings to disable that behavior. Can anyone please advise?
