[AIRPLAY] TS 451 does not show Apple TV as a media receiver

I have installed the Media Streaming add on, but Media Receivers > Scan for devices does not show my Apple TV. The Apple TV is connected to my network wirelessly, but the TS-451 is wired. I suspect that has something to do with it.
Other than running a long cable across the room and down the stairs from the Apple TV to my router, how can I stream from my NAS to Apple TV?

Wifi or cable,no difference.
