Hello,
I use Kodi 17.4 in Linux Station (Ubuntu 16.04)
I have mounted a USB Blu-ray player and the OS sees it.
Kodi sees it also but when I clic on the button "Play disc", nothing happens.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
KODI does not play Blu-ray

Re: KODI does not play Blu-ray
probably a copy protected disk (commercial)
doubt that kodi and qnap meets the requitments to play back (hdcp, etc.)

Re: KODI does not play Blu-ray
Hello,
It is not a copy protected disk problem.
I have already succeed in playing copy protected blu-ray in Kodi in Linux Station but I had to reinstall and now it does not work.
Meenwhile, Qnap has added the possibility to mount a USB optical drive in Linux Station.
Before that, I had to mount the drive manually.
EDIT: It works if I unmount the drive in QTS and I mount it manually in Kody

Re: KODI does not play Blu-ray
google says playing bluray via kodi is not that easy .. due to copy protection .. using other software players as intermediates (external player) seems to be possible
