Surround sound not working from KODI

Hi guys,
Own an HS251.
Connected it from HDMI to Denon AVR X4400H.
Have 5.1 surround.
AppleTV and Oppo 205 are also connected to Denon and I I I get surround.
I open the same movie from OPPO via network share from the NAS, I get surround.
I can not get surround from KODI.
Only Fronts and Center work.
What can be done?

Rookie mistake!
It was 3.1
Thought it would be set automatically

Yep, done that, too!
Working fine.
Does it also support Atmos by any chance?
Planning to add 2 Atmos speakers.

never used the KODI on QNAP .. I have dedicated players for playback (and those do HDR+Atmos just fine, played back via DLNA from the QNAP )
