Hey all
My qnap seems to be only sending dnla music files as 44.1khz regardless whether they are high bitrate MP3 or flac , I've tried two devices to stream the music but both say 44.1khz regardless.
Any ideas, I have the standard dnla and also twonky installed.
Thanks

how do you test this ?
twonky does not transcode files by default .. so the file is processed as whatever format it is in
I can test this tonight if you disclose your method

I'm just going by what is displayed on the devices. I have a Yamaha musicast streamer connected to an amp and that shows up 44khz when playing a track, both on the phone app and also the amplifier display. Its connected via a cat 6 cable.
Thanks

Re: Limited to 44.1khz music streaming
have to admit all my music is CD based so 44.1KhZ was sort of max what I had (including flac files)
so I just downloaded a sample flac clip, and it's served via twonky DLNA and played via KODI

Ok thanks I'll give Kodi a go and see what that shows up.
