Kodi not working after firmware update
Just updated my firmware. Now Kodi crashes every time I try to play file from library. So I tried to update Kodi. The latest Kodi version "18.1 Liea" says that it need HD Station 4.0 or greater, but only HD Station 3A is available to me. I cant find version 4.0. So, I cant install the latest kodi. So, I uninstalled kodi then reinstalled it V 17.5 (the highest version that will work with HD Station 3A). Still same results, it crashed when I try to play a local file. Does anyone have a resolution to this? Does anyone know why the newest Kodi need HD Station 4.0 but only 3A is available?
Just read some posts saying that HD Station 4 need QTS 4 but Im on QTS 1.3 and dont see any update options. OMG, how will my kodi ever work again? Can I roll back the firmware update?

Re: Kodi not working after firmware update
I have a HS-251
The QTS version 4.3.6 in the "about" menu but the QTS icon on the HD station is QTS 1.3
and dont see any update options for the HD Station QTS. will my kodi ever work again?
Can I roll back the firmware update?

Re: Kodi not working after firmware update
I tried that. It does not work. It requires HD Station 4. I have HD Station 3A and there is not update to 4 in the app centre.
Thanks anyway.

Re: Kodi not working after firmware update
no QTS 4.4.1. Only QTS 4.3.6 which I am up to. Maybe I can go back to the last working version

Re: Kodi not working after firmware update
so i fixed it.
Still cannot update to HD 4 or kodi 18 but
got the video working by disabling hardware acceleration in the kodi settings.
Not sure why that works now and I never needed it before , but at least it is working
