Hi there current my qnap nas is TS-453Be, last year was TS-453A.
Working with max memory.
I have tried both firmware normal and beta to get plex to work 100% via HDMI.
In the past TS-453A was 100% working, local network, remote network and HDMI direct connect.
But this model, the TS453Be works good local network, remote network but not HDMI. Always slow, give me 16s in 16s more or less doesn't run smooth.
In video LAN works, ALways 100%. Why? Last QNAP was at 100%.
Tried with this version:
TS-453Be firmware 4.3.6, plex server 1.16.5 and plex home theater 1.4.2.100, CodexPack 4.5.2.1.
TS-453Be firmware 4.4.1.1031, plex server 1.16.5 and Plex Media Player 2.29.1.961 + Plex Media Player 2.40.0.100 ( last both from qnap club forum); plex home theater doesn't work anymore it disables himself.
Even on latest beta firmware same problem.
If i do not use plex, use QNAP HP Player to manual read video everything works ok but can't load subtitles and have same simplicity.
Can anyone give a good ideia in orther to fix this problem.

Re: TS-453Be Plex HDMI
sorry for the confusion post.
What is not working is plex player connected via HDMI in this model. In the last model was fine.

Re: TS-453Be Plex HDMI
OK dolbyman.
Every movie starts to play normal but after 15 seconds more or less image pause for 1 second or less and movie continues. But the plex current HD Station always works like this. If i play a movie using for example VideoLan, the same movie plays correct.
But even if i play the movie using android tv in my uncle house movie also plays ok, only plays bad if i use HDMI isung HDStation.

Re: TS-453Be Plex HDMI
Plex just released a Plex Server hotfix for skipping issues on several player platforms, see if you can update it
Helped for my 2016 Samsung Tizen Plex player (all playback smooth again)
