[HELP] Setting up NAS to stream audio to AV receiver with JRiver Media Center

Post by Dr_Hoon »

I wish to use my QNAP TS-230 exclusively for streaming CD quality audio to my Yamaha RX-A3080 (DLNA) receiver via JRiver Media Center, controlled by a remote app on tablet. I don't want to use my PC for anything other than ripping my CDs and copying the files to the NAS. I've installed Container Station and found JRiver Media Center 27 on Docker Hub but I can't get it to run - I believe because it's amd64 and I need an arm64 version. I downloaded an arm64 version (MediaCenter-27.0.84-arm64.deb) but that's as far as I can get with my noob understanding of things. I have no idea how to get Media Center up and running on my NAS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
