QFile May Not Be Handling divx Video Files Properly
I have bunches of divx video files on my NAS. I was using QFile to connect to and launch my Android media player to watch these videos. With Qfile, when I click a divx video it attempts to download the entire multi-gigabyte movie to my Android device via Google Chrome as opposed to streaming to VLC that I have installed. VLC streams divx files properly on its own, and it has divx associated with to handle. Is this a Qfile issue of not properly handling divx?

Best to open a ticket with QNAP.
(doubt many people here use qfile for video streaming .. with the plethora of much much better option available)

Sometimes Qfile comes in handy to properly store specific credentials I have setup. I was using this to connect to and launch all associated audio and video files. It seems it's broken for divx video files.

Re: QFile May Not Be Handling divx Video Files Properly
I use Qfile at home (or via VPN) to move files from NAS to NAS via my phone .. that's about it
Otherwise Qfile always sounds like web exposed NAS (with all the malware tears associated with those)
