QFile not connecting over intenet

Hello, I set up myqnapcloud account and registered the device. Im able to connect through desktop but cant connect through mobile apps Qfile or qmanager remotely. i can connect through them if im in the same network.

By setting up a VPN on your router. WireGuard on a FritzBox is set up in 2 mins.

btw..hackers love noobs..they expose their NAS and do not have backups...means millions of bucks for them (not kidding)

So whats the advantage of nas if I can’t reach it securely from outside my network?

A NAS is a network attached storage, you use it as storage in your network.

If you want easy accessible storage from on the go, you want cloud storage (dropbox,onedrive,etc)

QNAP sadly advertised them for a while as "private cloud" but has backpaddled this now (after all these disasters)
