Hi guys,
Small problem with the Q Apps, they can't find my NAS. I know the phone and apps are ok as on my own network/NAS(TS-251) I have no problems. My stepdad recently moved provider and changed router and since then I can't discover the NAS (TS-453).
I can add the NAS manually using the IP address or the QNAPCloud ID, but after that no joy.
It's not a big deal, but I'd like to crack it.
Any help much appreciated.

Is it possible that the new router needs some sort of special accommodation in order to discover the NAS?
Asking because I have a similar issue.

When you access the nas with the IP address, are you accessing it with the local IP or global IP. Could this be a port forwarding issue?

Or it could be an ISP that does Carrier Grade NAT..

That would prohibit usage
