Submit a helpdesk request under Mobile Applications. There are "MANY" enhancements that QNAP really needs to make on some of their IOS apps IMHO.

If your model supports Plex, you could try importing your library into Plex and see if that works better.

I found a similar issue when the iPad gets locked (I do not use earphones) and have a ticket open now. They confirmed the issue and am awaiting a fix. Question: Are you using the "Random Song" mode? Strange, but this seems to only happen when choosing this.
