How to access NAS from Android using ES File Explorer with mobile
I can access NAS using ES File Explorer with wifi using network and LAN. How about with mobile data connection?

VPN into your LAN first. It works fine over mobile and VPN.

Not sure what else to say... do you have a VPN server running on your LAN?

Ok, I may be seeing the light now. So are you saying to use QVPN service to setup a VPN server with the NAS. Then connect other devices to NAS as clients.

Using QVPN on the NAS is one way to do it. This may be the simplest way for you to get the result you're after. But it's preferable to run a VPN server on a perimeter device like a router.
If this is your first time setting up a VPN server, follow QNAP's tutorial for QVPN: https://www.qnap.com/en-us/how-to/tutor ... -qvpn-2-0/ and create an OpenVPN server instance.
Then, when you're not on your LAN, connect to the VPN server with your Android device as a client, then fire-up ES File Explorer.
